Customer Reviews
Good first buy, fair price
I grabbed a Shiitake Mushroom Log during their spring sale. Signed up for the newsletter and got an extra 10% off which was nice. It felt like a solid deal for what I got. Shipping took about 6 days to get to my place in Ohio. No complaints really, good value.
Reliable source for logs
This was my third order from 2funguys. I got a couple of Oyster Mushroom Logs this time. They're consistently good quality. My last order of Fatboy Shiitake Log produced really well, so I keep coming back. The logs always arrive well-packaged, and the production has been pretty steady across all my purchases. No real issues to report.
Detailed log kit experience
I ordered the Mushroom Log Inoculation Kit with some Shiitake Wide Range Plug Spawn Dowels. The website was easy enough to navigate, and checkout was smooth. I had a question about the best wood type for my region, so I shot an email to support, and they got back to me within a day with a helpful answer. The kit arrived in about 7 days, which was fine. Everything was there as described, the tools felt sturdy enough for the job, and the dowels looked fresh. I've inoculated the logs now, and I'm just waiting for them to start producing. The instructions in the kit were clear, which is good for someone new to this like me. So far, a positive experience all around; they seem to care about getting you set up right.

Has anyone gotten a first-time buyer discount from 2funguys? Trying to decide if I should sign up for the newsletter before my first order.
Hey, thinking about getting a shiitake log from here. Anyone know if they ship those in winter? I'm in Michigan and it gets pretty cold.
